Nottingham Forest fans all share the same worry after Neil Warnock leaves Middlesbrough

Nottingham Forest fans have rushed to Twitter after Neil Warnock left Middlesbrough this evening.

While many football fans will have their opinions on Warnock and his long career in management, it is potentially relevant news for Forest fans.

Forest wing-back and recent standout Djed Spence is on loan from Middlesbrough as he did not feature in Warnock's plans, despite playing well under previous boss Jonathan Woodgate.

Our colleagues at TeessideLive report that former Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder is lined up to replace Warnock, with it more likely that Spence would fit into Wilder's style of play.

That has sparked concerns ahead of the January transfer window, with the possibility that Spence could be recalled - though this has not been suggested by either club.

Here is what Forest fans are saying on Twitter :

@CarnorJax87 : Warnock gone... Quick will someone at #NFFC sign Spence.

@kev_parsons_ : His boro replacement must be a baller.. What a player, what a decision..

@mprob85 : Always liked Warnock, proper manager, even did us a favour with Spence this season, would of liked to see him manage #nffc at some point in his career can't see it now though, enjoy your retirement fella

@olster81 : Wilder going to Boro will be a massive problem. Spence will be perfect for his set up

@NffcOscar : UH OH

@matt0675 : With warnock leaving boro can they recall spence in jan??
