Nottingham Forest fans all say the same thing about major transfer development

Nottingham Forest fans seem somewhat unsure about the club signing another midfielder.

Paraguay Under-23 international Braian Ojeda is reportedly set to sign for Forest from Olimpia and boost Chris Hughton's midfield options.

Forest CEO Dane Murphy has previously spoken about the club exploring alternative markets for players, rather than the traditional leagues where their rivals spend most of their time looking.

They have certainly done that here, with Olimpia playing in the Paraguayan Primera Division.

It is said that Ojeda can play in a holding role, though is also capable of operating as more of a box-to-box midfielder.

Here is what Forest fans have been saying about the potential signing on Twitter...

@WibbleMyFins : All these midfielders we keep signing and yet that's not our weak point

@Nffc1973notts : Bottom line is he needs to be better than what we’ve got or it’s another pointless signing. We need players who can play week in week out, squad players won’t help.

@sco1ney : Hopefully Dane, Foreign Scouting/Recruitment unearth a talent. Clearly financially we have to look overseas, with figures for proven Championship players too rich.

@KJMsport57 : Always pleased when we make a signing - but do we really need another defensive midfield player? Our priority is a proven striker and has been for almost a year. We still haven’t signed one.

@kodswallop : Another who can play in a defensive midfield role. What's he got that the other 4 or 5 haven't. Surely we should be looking at offensive midfielders with an eye for goal. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

@redgolf99 : He's not Colback, which would be a huge bonus.

@SteveElnor : I know Dane has said we need to be looking for players where others aren't, but didn't imagine he meant the Andes!

@nffcalways1 : The league he’s come from is physical, he’s got a week to train with the side and will probably be eased in gradually, this type of signing is always a gamble but hopefully it pays off.
