Nottingham Forest have confirmed that Steven Reid will remain on the coaching staff at the City Ground - and it has won universal praise from the fans.
The Reds announced Reid would be staying at the club as part of the coaching set-up at the Championship club after Steve Cooper was confirmed as head coach this week.
Usually, new managers like to change their backroom staff and with Reid being brought in by Chris Hughton many felt he could be heading for the exit.
But Reid, who steered the Reds to their first win of the season at Huddersfield Town last weekend, will be staying put at Forest where he is becoming a popular figure among supporters.
