Nottingham Forest fan reveals special connection in tribute to Chris Cohen

Chris Cohen has said goodbye to Nottingham Forest after 13 years at the City Ground to take up a first-team coach role at Luton Town.

The Reds' under-23s manager has moved to the Hatters to continue his development after doing a sterling job with some of the club's brightest prospects.

Forest say the "door is always open" for Cohen to return with the 33-year-old held in high esteem at a club he joined in 2007 and went on to make more than 300 appearances for.

Fans have been paying their tributes to Cohen who they feel one day is destined to return to the City Ground as manager.

And one fan said his love of the player was reflected by his decision to name his son after him.

Matt on Twitter said: "Named my little lad Cohen after this legend!

"He gave everything for the club and the loyalty and commitment will not be forgotten!

"Good luck Chris and one day I hope to see you in the forest hotseat."
