Nottingham Forest are facing a “big week” in their pre-season preparations, according to Joe Lolley.
It has been all change at the City Ground in the past few days as Martin O’Neill was axed and replaced at the helm by Sabri Lamouchi.
The new head coach did not take charge of the side for their first pre-season friendly on Saturday, with Under-23s duo Jimmy Gilligan and Chris Cohen overseeing the 2-1 victory at Alfreton Town.
But this week will see Lamouchi pick up the reins and get to work putting his ideas across,
Their summer programme continues with games against Dundee and Peterborough United, on Tuesday and Saturday respectively, as the build-up to the new Championship campaign gathers pace.

Lolley played the first half of the weekend’s win and said: “Good first 45 in the bank, felt like 90 in that (sun emoji) now for a big week in (Spanish flag emoji).”
The Reds ace also joked with defender Alexander Milosevic, who was absent from the squad at Alfreton.
The centre-back replied to Lolley’s tweet, saying, “don’t forget sunprotection 50”, with the winger responding with a crying with laugher emoji and “ready and packed… good of you to join us.”
Forest will be aiming to mount a push for the top six when the action gets underway in August, having finished ninth last term.
