Nottingham Forest face Leeds competition for Premier League striker - report

Leeds United have reportedly entered the race to sign Che Adams from Southampton.

Nottingham Forest have been linked with a move for the 23-year-old striker in the January transfer window.

However, according to Football Insider, Leeds are also interested in signing the former Ilkeston star.

The report suggests Forest have already made an offer to take Adams on loan.

But it looks like they could now face competition from Yorkshire rivals Leeds.

Adams joined Southampton from Birmingham City in the summer, for a reported fee of £15m.

He has made 14 appearances in all competitions without finding the net - and he has not started a league match since September.
