Nottingham Forest duo linked with loan exits as Sabri Lamouchi looks to trim squad

Nottingham Forest boss Sabri Lamouchi has spoken of the need to trim his squad - and it is said the club are looking to arrange loan moves for two of their senior players.

With four right-backs on their books, that is an area where the Reds will seek to move some on.

And The Sun claim Forest want to loan out Carl Jenkinson and Tendayi Darikwa, “if they can find suitors” willing to take them.

Cyrus Christie started Friday night’s defeat at Huddersfield Town, making his debut after signing on a season-long loan from Fulham - and is likely to be first-choice in the position.

Darikwa was on the bench against the Terriers, but has still yet to feature under Lamouchi, having been sidelined with injury for the past year.

Jenkinson was left out of the matchday squad at the John Smith’s Stadium, on the back of making his first appearance of the term the previous week, against Cardiff City.

Youngster Jordan Gabriel had started the first two games of the campaign, as the Reds were knocked out of the Carabao Cup by Barnsley and fell away to QPR in their opening Championship game.

Gabriel has previously been linked with a switch to Blackpool, although Lamouchi ruled out a loan move earlier this month.
