Nottingham Forest defender 'wanted' by Championship duo

Nottingham Forest defender Joe Worrall is wanted by Championship duo Hull City and Queens Park Rangers, according to a report.

Football Insider credit the two second tier clubs with an interest in the 22-year-old centre-back.

Worrall spent last season on loan at Rangers, making 32 appearances in all competitions for Steven Gerrard's side.

The Nigel Doughty Academy graduate has flitted in and out of Forest's first-team squad since he made his debut in October 2016.

He captained the side under Mark Warburton, but following Aitor Karanka's appointment as manager in January last year he fell out of favour with the Spaniard.

Worrall is currently training with Sabri Lamouchi's Reds as he bids to win a place in the first team this season.

He has made 56 career appearances for Forest and has been capped at England Under-21 level three times.
