Nottingham Forest dealt injury blow in warm-up before Bournemouth clash

Nottingham Forest have been hit with another injury blow right before their meeting with Bournemouth this evening, after Chris Hughton was forced to shuffle his pack after naming his starting XI.

Left-back Gaetan Bong had been given the nod to line up at left-back and was one of three players to come into the starting XI after Saturday’s defeat against Barnsley at Oakwell.

During the warm-up at the Vitality Stadium, though, Bong felt his hamstring and headed down the tunnel prematurely. It’s since been confirmed that he’s had to withdraw from the starting line-up.

Yuri Ribeiro, the player who had initially made way for Bong - who was set to make just his third appearance for Forest tonight - has stepped into the back-line from his place among the substitutes.

It leaves Hughton with a bench that is a man light as he prepares to take on the Cherries and counterpart Jason Tindall.
