Nottingham Forest could see one in and one out 'in next few days' - report

Midfielder Cafu is likely to have played his last game for Olympiacos ahead of a move to Nottingham Forest, according to reports in Greece.

It is said the 27-year-old will join the Reds from the fellow Evangelos Marinakis-owned club, with Tiago Silva heading in the opposite direction.

Cafu came off the bench for Olympiacos on Saturday and scored his side’s second goal as Panetolikos were beaten 2-0.

It is suggested that match could be his final run-out as a move to the City Ground is “looming”.

Meanwhile, Sport24 say Silva is expected in Greece “in the next few days” to put pen to paper for Olympiacos, in a swap deal between the two teams.

The midfielder has not featured for Sabri Lamouchi’s side this season, due to being sidelined with an ankle injury.

Last week, the head coach said of his recovery: "Tiago is close. He started to run on Wednesday, but he needs time.”

He was expected to be fit towards the end of this month.

After signing for Forest last summer, Silva made 47 appearances and scored four goals in the 2019/20 campaign.

Fellow Portuguese Cafu only joined Olympiacos in February from Legia Warsaw and Saturday was the 10th time he had featured for the club, in the Greek top-flight and Europa League.
