Nottingham Forest have announced three friendlies as part of their initial pre-season schedule.
The Reds are gearing up for a promotion push when the new Championship campaign begins in August, and they have pencilled in a few matches as part of their build-up.
Chris Hughton’s side will make the trip to face Port Vale on Saturday, July 17 (3pm kick-off), before travelling to fellow League Two side Northampton Town on Tuesday, July 20 (7.45pm).
They will then take on League One Crewe Alexandra at Gresty Road on Saturday, July 24 (3pm).
Another friendly is planned for Saturday, July 31, with details to be announced in due course.
Fans will have to wait to find out if they are able to attend the matches, however, having not been able to go to a Forest game since March 2020.
The club say: “Supporters are advised that no details have yet been agreed concerning potential ticket and/or streaming arrangements for the pre-season friendlies.
“The club continues to closely monitor the UK Government’s announcements regarding lifting of lockdown restrictions and awaits the subsequent guidance from the EFL and the relevant health and safety authorities.
“As soon as definitive information is available it will be shared with supporters.”
Fixtures for the 2021/22 season were released last week, with the Reds set to travel to Coventry City on the opening day, on Saturday, August 7.
Their first home clash will be a League Cup tie with Bradford City on Tuesday, August 10, followed by Bournemouth at the City Ground, in the league, on Saturday, August 14.
