Nottingham Forest coaching staff slammed as club are linked with Chelsea defender

Nottingham Forest have been linked with a move for Chelsea defender Marc Guehi.

The Reds  are among a number of clubs keen on signing the England Under-21 international in the January transfer window, according to The Sun.

Norwich City, Southampton, Swansea and Bristol City are also said to be interested in landing the highly-rated 19-year-old.

Nottingham Forest fell to a disappointing 2-1 defeat away at  Huddersfield Town  on Saturday.

The result has seen Sabri Lamouchi's side slide to ninth in the table, but there was plenty to talk about from the heated encounter.

A bad-tempered affair between Nottingham Forest and Huddersfield Town spilled at the half-time interval.

Reds boss Sabri Lamouchi and Danny Cowley  clashed on the touchline and in the tunnel  as they left the field after the opening 45 minutes at the John Smith's Stadium.

A melee ensued, with staff and players both getting involved, and the ill feeling continued at the final whistle, with  Lamouchi's men beaten 3-1 .

Cowley accused Forest's coaching staff of showing a  "lack of respect" .

Lamouchi, meanwhile, admitted  there had been some "tension"  between the two parties.

Pundit Michael Brown gave his verdict on the matter during the EFL highlights show on Quest.
