Nottingham Forest close to completing deadline day deal for John Bostock

Nottingham Forest are understood to be on the verge of signing John Bostock.

It’s expected the 27-year-old former Tottenham youngster will complete the formalities of his switch from French side Toulouse before Thursday’s 5pm transfer deadline.

Bostock is likely to agree a season-long loan move to the City Ground.

The midfielder made 17 appearances for his club last season, with one of those coming against Rennes, who were managed by Forest head coach Sabri Lamouchi at the time.

He made the move to Toulouse last summer, putting pen to paper on a three-year contract.

Bostock started out at Crystal Palace before making the move to White Hart Lane in 2008. However, he did not make a single first-team appearance in the league for Spurs.
