Nottingham Forest are close to agreeing a £600,000 deal for Malmo's Fouad Bachirou, according to reports in Sweden.
According to Swedish media outlet Expressen, the former Paris Saint-Germain central midfielder is set to sign for the Reds and will be in Nottingham for a medical soon.
Bachirou has been with Malmo since January 2018, joining from Ostersunds.
He arrived in Sweden in 2014 when he was signed from Scottish side Greenock Morton by Graham Potter, the current Brighton and Hove Albion boss, during his time in charge at Ostersunds.
Bachirou finished off his youth development at PSG, joining from local side Clichy in 2006.
The Comoros international made 22 appearances for PSG's reserves before moving to Greenock in 2010.
He made 117 appearances in the Scottish Championship before moving to Ostersunds.
Bachirou is a defensive midfielder and has been capped 19 times for his country.

Reds boss Sabri Lamouchi has already added Jack Colback to the Reds' midfield, the former loanee joining on a permanent deal from Newcastle United.
Ryan Yates, Ben Watson and Samba Sow will be competing with Colback for a spot in Lamouchi 's favoured two-man midfield.
Sow and Watson were the first-choice pair, but the former only made 22 appearances last season while the latter is out of contract.
