Nottingham Forest 'chasing' Exeter City winger for January transfer swoop

Nottingham Forest are reportedly chasing Exeter City winger Randell Williams with a view to a January transfer swoop.

The former Tottenham Hotspur youth star, 22, has turned out seven times this season for the Grecians in SkyBet League Two, scoring twice in the league and impressing during his time in Devon.

He arrived at St James Park in January on a free transfer from Premier League outfit Watford and has also spent time in the capital with Crystal Palace's Under-23s side.

Sabri Lamouchi's side are not the only Championship club said to be chasing his signature, say TeamTalk, who claim that the Reds have sent scouts to the south west to keep close tabs on the talent.

Cardiff City, QPR and Huddersfield Town have all been linked with the midfielder, who has been instrumental in Exeter's charge to the very top of the fourth tier, according to the report.
