Nottingham Forest can sign Premier League transfer target at reduced price - report

Southampton are willing to sell Nottingham Forest's January Target Che Adams for a cut-price fee when the window opens, according to reports.

The Saints splashed out £15m to sign the striker from Birmingham City last summer.

Adams enjoyed a stunning final season at St Andrew’s, but his move to the Premier League hasn’t gone as planned.

The 23-year-old has played just 725 minutes in the league this season and has failed to score a competitive goal on the south coast.

He was linked with a move away in the January window, with Leeds United believed to have had a £19m bid accepted before the decision was reversed.

Forest were also well in the race to land the forward, claimed reports at the time, but were unable to match his valuation.

But now, according to Football Insider, the Saints are willing to accept offers in the region of just £10m, when the window opens at the end of the season.

That could prove to be a big boost for Sabri Lamouchi's side who were desperate to boost their forward line during the winter.

West Brom were also heavily linked with Adams and could be set to provide added competition.
