Nottingham Forest boss Steve Cooper names his team to face Hull City

Boss Steve Cooper sticks with an unchanged starting line-up as Nottingham Forest take on Hull City this afternoon.

The Reds are out to record a third successive win in the Championship, as well as make it a superb nine games unbeaten when they face the Tigers.

They thumped Swansea City 4-1 at the Liberty Stadium last time out as Cooper enjoyed a memorable return to his old stomping ground.

Goals from Philip Zinckernagel, Lewis Grabban, Brennan Johnson and Cafu - his first for the club - clinched the three points, leaving Forest just four points below the play-off spots ahead of kick-off today.

Winger Joe Lolley and defender Tobias Figueiredo missed the trip to South Wales through illness, but the latter is back in the matchday squad at the City Ground, being included on the bench. Lolley is still not involved, however.

Ryan Yates filled in in defence at Swansea, in Figueiredo’s absence, and does so again as Cooper sticks with a three-man back line.

It means Yates lines up alongside Joe Worrall and Scott McKenna ahead of goalkeeper Brice Samba, with Djed Spence and Jordi Osei-Tutu in the wing-back roles.

James Garner and Jack Colback keep their places in the centre of the pitch, while Zinckernagel and Johnson will provide attacking support for striker Grabban.

As well as Figueiredo, Ethan Horvath, Joao Carvalho, Gaetan Bong, Alex Mighten, Cafu and Lyle Taylor make up the substitutes’ bench. Midfielder Braian Ojeda misses out on a place in the squad.

Forest: Samba; Worrall, Yates, McKenna; Spence, Garner, Colback, Osei-Tutu; Zinckernagel, Grabban, Johnson. Subs: Horvath, Figueiredo, Bong, Mighten, Cafu, Carvalho, Taylor.
