It is, Nottingham Forest will hope, some way off in the distant future, but boss Sabri Lamouchi has spoken of his desire to one day return to Italy as a coach.
The Frenchman won’t be leaving the City Ground any time soon, having just signed a new two-year deal with the Reds - with the option of another year after that.
And he has frequently expressed his love for the club, saying he is “very happy” on the banks of the Trent.
Further down the line, though, he admits it would be “a good story” if he gets the chance to manage Parma, where he spent three years and made almost 100 league appearances as a player.
“When you feel comfortable in one place, you always think about returning,” Lamouchi told TuttoMercatoWeb.
“Italy is passion.
“I would like to return to Parma as a coach, it would be a good story.
“I spent three wonderful years in Parma and I won a trophy. But I’m also tied to Genoa.

“I have great memories of Genoa and Parma. Knowing Italian football was fortunate.”
Lamouchi joined Parma from Monaco in 2000 and made 90 league appearances, scoring seven goals, before leaving for Inter Milan.
He left Inter in 2005, but had a loan spell at Genoa during his time at the club.
Since arriving at the City Ground, he has got Forest competing at the top end of the Championship table.
They returned to action at the weekend as the season restarted following a three-month suspension due to the coronavirus pandemic, with all remaining matches taking place behind closed doors.
A late equaliser saw them draw 1-1 at Sheffield Wednesday, leaving the Reds fifth in the table.
Having had a short amount of time in which to prepare for the resumption of matches, and with fixtures being held in empty stadiums, Lamouchi admits there are challenges ahead.
“Physically the teams are not ready, it shows,” he added. “Without fans, everything is different.
“Just finishing the Championship to end the season is however complicated, we have to adapt.”
