Nottingham Forest boss Sabri Lamouchi is among the front-runners to take charge at Watford, according to the bookies.
The Hornets are on the lookout for a new manager after sacking Quique Sanchez Flores yesterday.
The axe fell on the Spaniard following Saturday’s 2-1 defeat to Southampton, with the club rock bottom of the Premier League table on eight points from 14 games - six points from safety.
Former Brighton & Hove Albion boss Chris Hughton is the clear favourite for the job, with SkyBet listing him as 1/2 in the odds, while Sam Allardyce is 3/1 and Paul Clement 5/1.
Lamouchi is 20/1 for the Vicarage Road role, the same odds as Tony Pulis, while Roger Schmidt is 16/1.

Ex-Reds chief Martin O’Neill is listed as 25/1, likewise Neil Warnock, and David Moyes is 28/1.
When Watford announced Sanchez Flores’ departure, they said: “The appointment of a new head coach is imminent, and with nearly two-thirds of the season remaining, we will provide all the support necessary to make the coming months successful.”
Lamouchi has made a significant impact since being appointed at the City Ground back in June, leading them to fourth in the Championship after 18 matches.
He is already said to have caught the eye of Wolverhampton Wanderers, whose manager, Nuno Espirito Santo, has been linked with the vacant Arsenal job.
The Sun on Sunday have said Lamouchi could be someone Wolves look to should the Portuguese leave.
