Nottingham Forest hope defender Yuri Ribeiro will be fit for a busy run of two games in the space of four days next week.
The Portuguese missed today’s trip to Bristol City after taking a knock to the knee in the Reds’ 1-0 win over arch-rivals Derby County before the international break.
Jack Robinson came into the starting line-up in Ribeiro’s place at left-back, for the only change to the XI which had beaten the Rams last time out.
Forest made it three games unbeaten at Ashton Gate as they came away with a 0-0 draw, despite having for a two-footed challenge early in the second half.
But head coach Sabri Lamouchi hopes Ribeiro could be back available as his team prepare for a trip to face QPR on Wednesday night, followed by a home clash with Cardiff City next Saturday.

“He received a kick in the knee - a stupid kick,” Lamouchi said of the right-back’s absence against the Robins.
“He has had an MRI.
“I hope he will start to run tomorrow with us, and we will see for the next week and the next game.”
Defender Michael Dawson was an unused substitute against City, as he returned to the matchday squad following injury.
Alfa Semedo, Carl Jenkinson, Yohan Benalouane, Michael Hefele and Samba Sow remain sidelined.
