Nottingham Forest will again be without injured midfielders Samba Sow, Ryan Yates and Harry Arter for their trip to face Wycombe Wanderers.
The trio are making progress, but boss Chris Hughton says this weekend’s clash will come too soon - although he may have his options boosted for the match against Bournemouth a week on Saturday.
Yates and Arter are both struggling with calf problems, while Sow missed the midweek victory over Coventry City after damaging his ankle in the previous game, against Barnsley.
“At the moment, Sow and Arter will miss out,” Hughton said.
Tough competition
After strengthening his squad in the January transfer window, Nottingham Forest boss Chris Hughton has options across the pitch.
But he has told those players struggling for game time, there is always a route back into the starting XI.
Be it through form or selection decisions, there are a number in the Reds squad who have found opportunities tough to come by at various stages this season.
The likes of Joe Lolley, Harry Arter, Tyler Blackett and Loic Mbe Soh, for instance, along with others, have sometimes found themselves down the pecking order when fit.

Confident Cafu
Midfielder Cafu says he has benefitted from working with Nottingham Forest boss Chris Hughton as he adapts to the Championship.
The 27-year-old signed for the Reds from Olympiacos in October, initially on a loan deal which was then turned into a permanent move earlier this week.
It was Cafu’s first taste of English football, having previously plied his trade in his Portuguese homeland, France, Poland and Greece.
In addition to a different style of play and getting used to a new country, he has also taken on different roles for the Reds. Hughton, he says, has played a big part in helping him to adjust.
Midfield debate
Nottingham Forest took a welcome step in the right direction with their 2-1 win against Coventry City on Tuesday night.
Victory took the Reds up to 19th in the Championship table and made it three wins in their last five league games.
The match, along with the January transfer window, was discussed on this week's Garibaldi Red podcast, with special focus on Forest's new look midfield.
Reds fan and journalist Daniel Storey joined Sarah Clapson and Matt Davies to discuss James Garner's promising debut and whether Garner and Filip Krovinovic will make Forest more entertaining.
