Transfer business
Head coach Sabri Lamouchi is hopeful of bolstering his Nottingham Forest squad further, before the first Championship game of the season.
The Reds have made six summer signings already, bringing in Jack Colback, Tyler Blackett, Lyle Taylor, Fouad Bachirou, Luke Freeman and Miguel Angel Guerrero.
But Lamouchi says the recruitment will not stop there - and he hopes further transfer business could be completed in time for next Saturday’s trip to QPR.
Cyprus defender Nicholas Ioannou has been heavily linked with the Reds, with reports in his homeland suggesting a deal has been agreed for the APOEL Nicosia full-back to make the move to the City Ground.
Injury latest
Sabri Lamouchi admitted some of his players were not quite “100 percent” as Nottingham Forest were knocked out of the Carabao Cup by Barnsley.
Cauley Woodrow’s second half scrambled effort sealed a 1-0 win for the Tykes, in the first competitive match of the new season.
The quick turnaround between last term and the 2020/21 campaign has made for a shorter preparation time than normal, with the visitors looking decidedly rusty at Oakwell.
Lamouchi gave five of his six new signings a run-out, with striker Miguel Angel Guerrero the only one not to feature.

Transfer talk
Nottingham Forest have made an offer to sign young PSG central defender Loic Mbe Soh, claim La Parisien, after talks to stay in Paris collapsed.
The 19-year-old is set to leave Parc des Princes this summer after negotiations to stay with the club until 2024 collapsed.
And that has piqued Forest's interest, reports say, who has now made contact with PSG to learn just how much a swoop for Mbe Soh will cost.
The Reds will be told that his capture requires an "extract fee" that would due to the fact that the defender is a PSG academy graduate.
Opposition reaction
Barnsley boss Gerhard Struber believes his side's win over Nottingham Forest in the Carabao Cup was a deserved victory after Cauley Woodrow's winner knocked the Reds out of the tournament.
Forest failed to find the net against the Tykes on a tough day at Oakwell that any hopes of an early season cup run deteriorate.
"I think the performance was OK," said Struber, despite knocking Forest out. "There are many things I see that we must improve but it was a good first step and a good direction," Struber said.
