Boss Chris Hughton says Nottingham Forest’s hierarchy have been “very supportive” during his time at the club.
The Reds manager was speaking in response to a question about claims of interference in team selection during some of his predecessors’ time in charge.
The Athletic have alleged some former managers felt there was interference from above with regards to team selection, since Evangelos Marinakis took over the club and with Ioannis Vrentzos as CEO.
Asked about the report and whether he has experienced any such interference, Hughton told NottinghamshireLive: “I haven’t seen anything (of the report) so far.
“But all I can do is comment on my period here.
“I’ve been here for two months, and what I’ve found is they have been good football people to me and very supportive in everything I’ve done so far over this period of time.
“I can only speak about my experiences, and my experiences at this moment have been very good.”
Hughton replaced Sabri Lamouchi at the helm in October and has picked up 13 points from 11 Championship games.
The club declined to provide a comment when approached by NottinghamshireLive about the allegations.
