Lewis Grabban was named in the starting line-up as Nottingham Forest looked to make it five games unbeaten against Swansea City.
Reds boss Chris Hughton made three changes to the XI which drew 0-0 at home to Bournemouth on Saturday.
Grabban was set to replace Glenn Murray up front, having been an unused substitute at the weekend following a hamstring issue.
This time it was Murray’s turn to drop to the bench, along with Gaetan Bong, as Yuri Ribeiro would take up the left-back spot.
Joe Lolley was also included in the team named by Hughton, taking the place of Luke Freeman, who was not included in the matchday squad.
It meant the visitors would line up with a back four of Cyrus Christie, Tobias Figueiredo, Joe Worrall and Ribeiro, ahead of goalkeeper Brice Samba.
James Garner and Cafu retained their places in midfield, while Lolley was set to link up with Filip Krovinovic and Anthony Knockaert in support of lone striker Grabban.
In addition to Bong and Murray, Jordan Smith, Loic Mbe Soh, Jack Colback, Carl Jenkinson, Alex Mighten, Tyler Blackett and Lyle Taylor would be on the bench for Forest.
Hughton’s side had lost just one league game in their last 11 ahead of kick-off and would be looking for a different result to their last visit to the Liberty Stadium, when they were thumped 5-1 in the FA Cup last month.
Forest: Samba, Christie, Figueiredo, Worrall, Ribeiro, Cafu, Garner, Lolley, Krovinovic, Knockaert, Grabban. Subs: Smith, Mbe Soh, Colback, Bong, Jenkinson, Mighten, Blackett, Murray, Taylor.
