James Garner and Yuri Ribeiro returned to the Nottingham Forest line-up as boss Chris Hughton made two changes to his starting XI for the clash with Derby County.
Manchester United loanee Garner was back in the first-team after finding himself on the bench for Tuesday night’s victory over Rotherham United.
Ryan Yates had started in midfield for that one and scored the winning goal, but was not included in the matchday squad at Pride Park.
And now was Gaetan Bong, with Ribeiro coming in to the left-back spot against the Rams.
Meanwhile, there was a return for Sammy Ameobi and Samba Sow among the substitutes, with both having been sidelined through injury.
Joe Worrall was handed the captain’s armband and was set to once again line up alongside Tobias Figueiredo in the heart of the back line, with Cyrus Christie at right-back and Ribeiro on the left.
Garner would take his place in midfield alongside Cafu.
And with Lewis Grabban still ruled out, there was no change to Forest’s attacking arsenal.
Luke Freeman, Filip Krovinovic and Anthony Knockaert were set to be the attacking trio supporting lone front man Glenn Murray.
In addition to Ameobi and Sow, Jordan Smith, Loic Mbe Soh, Jack Colback, Carl Jenkinson, Joe Lolley, Tyler Blackett and Lyle Taylor were named on the substitutes’ bench.
