Nottingham Forest boss Chris Hughton names his team to face Blackburn Rovers

Lewis Grabban is in the Nottingham Forest starting XI for the first time this season, for the clash with Blackburn Rovers at the City Ground.

As his team look to put Championship points on the board at the third attempt, boss Chris Hughton makes two changes to his line-up.

Grabban replaces Lyle Taylor up front, while Alex Mighten comes in for Joe Lolley, who is left out of the matchday squad.

The Reds have fallen to 2-1 defeats in both of their opening league games, against Coventry City and Bournemouth, and will be aiming to get their campaign up and running on the banks of the Trent.

With Gaetan Bong serving a three-match suspension, summer signing Jordi Osei-Tutu keeps his place at left-back, with Jordan Gabriel on the right, ahead of goalkeeper Brice Samba.

Joe Worrall (calf) and Loic Mbe Soh (groin) continue to be sidelined with injury, leaving Scott McKenna and Tobias Figueiredo as the only fit senior centre-backs available to Hughton.

Ryan Yates and Jack Colback retain their spots in the centre of midfield.

Having missed the start of the season due to self-isolating, Grabban returns up front, being supported by the attacking trio of Philip Zinckernagel, Brennan Johnson and Mighten.

With Grabban back - and captaining the side - Lyle Taylor drops to the bench, with Ethan Horvath, Riley Harbottle, Fin Back, Tyrese Fornah, Cafu and Joao Carvalho making up the substitutes.

Forest: Samba, Gabriel, Figueiredo, McKenna, Osei-Tutu, Colback, Yates, Zinckernagel, Johnson, Mighten, Grabban. Subs: Horvath, Harbottle, Back, Fornah, Cafu, Carvalho, Taylor.
