On his way?
Nottingham Forest target Jonathan Kodjia could have played his last game for Aston Villa, according to one of his former teammates.
The Reds are looking to bolster their attacking options during the January transfer window, with the Villa striker understood to be one of those on their shortlist.
Kodjia has made just nine appearances for the Premier League side this season, last featuring in the 2-1 FA Cup defeat to Fulham at the start of the month.
His contract is due to expire in the summer, but the suggestion is his three-and-a-half-year stay at Villa Park could come to an end before then.

Sharp snub?
Sheffield United striker Billy Sharp has been urged to join Scottish champions Celtic by former England international Darren Bent, snubbing a move to join Sabri Lamouchi's Nottingham Forest.
The 33-year-old has been linked with moves to join both Forest and Derby County with both sides keen to bolster their attacking options this month.
Sheffield Wednesday and Leeds United have also been linked.
Sharp has expressed his desire to remain in the steel city beyond the end of the transfer window but reports continue to link him with a Blades exit.
Carvalho's challenge
Head coach Sabri Lamouchi says he “needs more” from Joao Carvalho, but insists the Nottingham Forest ace remains an important part of his plans.
The club record signing has struggled to hold down a regular starting spot for the Reds this season, and has been linked with a January move to fellow Evangelos Marinakis-owned side Olympiacos, as well as Turkish outfit Trabzonspor.

He was left out of the matchday squad entirely last weekend, as Forest drew 1-1 at Reading.
Lamouchi says nothing should be read into his omission amid speculation about the midfielder’s future, but is eager for Carvalho to consistently show the quality he is capable of.
Walker's future
Lincoln City boss Michael Appleton once again addressed Tyler Walker’s future after the Nottingham Forest loanee bagged his 16th goal of the season.
Walker is on loan with the League One Imps, where he has been in red-hot form, adding to his tally on Tuesday night in their 5-1 demolition of Bolton Wanderers.
He is due to spend the rest of the campaign at Sincil Bank, but with the Reds looking for attacking reinforcements during the January transfer window, head coach Sabri Lamouchi has previously admitted recalling him could be an option.
