Nottingham Forest backed to keep 'play-off dream alive' at Rotherham United

Sky Sports pundit David Prutton has given his prediction for Nottingham Forest's Championship trip to Rotherham United on Saturday (3pm).

The Reds travel to the New York Stadium hoping to record back-to-back wins for the first time since September after Saturday's 2-1 come-from-behind win over Swansea City.

Martin O'Neill's Forest will be hoping to keep up their Championship play-off hopes with a win at the struggling Millers, who were thumped 6-1 last time out by Derby County.

Forest kick-off a seven-game mini-season in South Yorkshire sitting three points off sixth-placed Aston Villa.

The Reds haven't won back-to-back games since a 1-0 defeat of Rotherham on September 22 followed up a 2-1 success over Sheffield Wednesday.

So can they rid themselves of that cloud this weekend? Ex-Red Prutton thinks so, tipping them for a 2-0 success.

He said: "Rotherham have lost a lot of games this season, but they haven't really been thumped in the way they were by Derby last weekend, and you wonder what that will do for their confidence.

"Forest kept their play-off dream alive with a comeback win over Swansea, but they have shown all season that they can't win back-to-back games. Can they change that on Saturday? I think they just might."
