Nottingham Forest and Stan Collymore pay tribute to former Reds physio

Nottingham Forest and Stan Collymore have paid tributes to former Reds physio John Haselden, who has sadly passed away aged 76.

"John was a funny, quiet and unassuming man who had a beautiful Yorkshire bluntness if you ever messed around in his physio room! " said former Forest striker Collymore on Twitter.

"Great memories of him at a great time for the club.

"I'll miss him as I know anyone who worked with him will. Rest in peace, Fizz."

Forest said they are "saddened to learn of the passing of our former physio, John Haselden. Our thoughts go out to his friends and family at this time."

Haselden, who was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease six years ago, spent nine years at the City Ground.

He was also Notts County physio during his career in football, and helped Mansfield Town win the old Fourth Division title in 1975 as first team coach.
