Nottingham Forest and Reds supporters pay tribute to Junior Agogo

Nottingham Forest and their supporters have paid tribute to former Reds striker Junior Agogo, who has sadly died at the age of 40.

Agogo spent two seasons at the City Ground during his playing career, scoring 20 goals in 64 league games for the club.

He memorably helped them win promotion back to the Championship in 2008.

"Rest in peace, Junior," said Forest on Twitter.

"We are saddened to learn that former striker Junior Agogo has passed away.

"The thoughts of everyone at the club are with Junior’s family and friends at this sad time."

Reds fans have also been paying tributes to the Ghanaian, who suffered a stroke back in 2015 which left him debilitated just two years after retiring from playing.
