Nottingham Forest and Leeds United snubbed by striker for French side

Nottingham Forest and Leeds United have reportedly been snubbed by striker Renaud Emond.

Edmond, it was reported last month , interested the Championship promotion-chasers with Premier League side Norwich City also said to be interested.

Sabri Lamouchi is set to sign a forward this month to ease the burden on star striker Lewis Grabban with the forward spearheading Forest 's promotion charge.

Now fresh reports in France claim Emond is set to sign for French top tier side Nantes, providing he passes a medical and will pen a two-and-a-half year deal for a transfer fee of around €3 million.

The 28-year-old has hit seven goals in 14 games for Belgian first division side Standard Liege.

He has also turned out for Royal Excelsior Virton and Waasland-Beveren in his career.
