Nottingham Forest agree deal with West Bromwich Albion for Kamil Grosicki

Nottingham Forest are understood to be closing in on the signing of West Bromwich Albion winger Kamil Grosicki before the transfer window closes.

Colleagues at our sister publication Birmingham Live understand a deal has been agreed between the clubs with only the player's personal terms left to be resolved.

Grosicki, 32, only arrived at the Hawthorns in the January transfer window when he signed on an 18-month contract from Hull City for a nominal fee ahead of the expiry of his deal at the KCOM Stadium.

He is currently out of favour at the Premier League side and would fit the bill for Forest's desire to sign at least one winger before Friday's 5pm deadline with Fulham's Anthony Knockaert also a target.

Grosicki is a long-term target of Forest, going back to Martin O'Neill's time in charge.

A move for the Poland international was believed to be close before the last deadline day but it now looks set to go through before new manager Chris Hughton's first game in charge at Blackburn Rovers on Saturday.
