Nottingham Forest advised how to handle Joe Worrall interest as surprising revelation announced

Kenny Burns - this is how Nottingham Forest should handle Joe Worrall interest

Joe Worrall’s performances so far this season for Nottingham Forest have been nothing short of fantastic.

They’ve been so good in fact, that he should be rewarded with a new contract at the City Ground to warn off any potential interest in him.

Despite having  a deal until summer 2022 , I’d get him on a longer-term one, just like they’ve done recently with the likes of Brennan Johnson and Alex Mighten.

Newcastle were linked with a move for him in the national media at the weekend, and while they may be in a position to pay him more, I doubt that’s a move he’d want to make, especially with the problems they’ve got.

What this former Nottingham Forest starlet had to say after weekend action

Former Nottingham Forest Academy star Arvin Appiah made his first appearance for Almeria since an £8m summer move.

The 18-year-old, who came up through the ranks at the Nigel Doughty Academy, left the club to join the La Liga 2 side  on a five-year deal.

Appiah was highly regarded at the City Ground, making his  Reds  breakthrough last season by scoring on his debut in the 3-2 League Cup defeat against Burton Albion.

Matty Cash reveals what must be Nottingham Forest's next goal

Matty Cash is hoping Nottingham  Forest  can start beating teams by bigger margins, such is the confidence in the squad.

Saturday's  1-0 win against Brentford  took the Reds up to second in the Championship, levels on points with West Brom as they made it 10 unbeaten since losing to the Baggies on the opening day of the season.

When asked if Forest are now on track to go up to the Premier League automatically, Cash was swift to play down that prospect, but he does believe Forest are capable of winning games even more comfortably.

Why this Nottingham Forest legend has gone full circle

Nottingham Forest legend Steve Chettle’s career has come “full circle”.

Chettle, who had a 13-year playing career with the  Reds,  left city rivals Notts County at the end of last season.

He is now manager of Northern Premier League Premier Division side Basford United, a club in which he has a close affiliation to.

Joao Carvalho is being tipped to emulate Nottingham Forest hero of the past

Stan Collymore was a player that often played with magic in his boots, one that could turn a game on its head in the blink of an eye.

The prolific ex- Nottingham Forest  striker, signed by Frank Clark for £2.75m in 1993, helped the club to a third-place finish in the Premier League before moving to Liverpool.

And Portuguese star Joao Carvalho has the ability to become a player of similar importance to the Reds, according to European Cup winner Colin Barrett.

Forest splashed a club record £13m on Carvalho last summer to bring him in from Benfica, and he’s shown glimpses since his arrival of the quality he boasts.

The surprising ticket revelation affecting Nottingham Forest fans ahead of Derby County clash

Nottingham Forest have confirmed tickets for next month’s East Midlands battle with Derby County will not make general sale.

For what the club describe as safety and security reasons, tickets will only be on sale to those who have a previous purchase history with the Reds.

The Reds  will go into the clash on November 9th ( 12:30pm ) in confident mood following the 3-0 win over the Rams in the Carabao Cup in late August, which was watched by a crowd of just under 27,000.

Home members will be able to buy one ticket for the game, while season card-holders can claim two additional tickets.
