Nottingham Forest address fans' season card renewal concerns amid coronavirus pandemic

Nottingham Forest have responded to fans’ concerns about renewing their season cards amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

With the country in lockdown, the City Ground ticket office front counters are currently closed, although supporters can renew online or get in touch with the club via email, while the phone lines are also open on a reduced timetable.

The Forest Supporters’ Trust asked the club in a Q&A if they would consider extending the season ticket renewal periods to help fans who may be under financial pressure during the outbreak.

Forest said: “All options are being considered. The club will communicate directly with supporters with any developments.”

Asked if arrangements would be made for those who cannot renew online or over the phone, with renewing in person not an option, the club said: “The club will monitor and adapt plans if there is a large group affected in this way.”

And in regards to payment plans, the Reds said: “A finance option with Premium Credit Finance will remain open all summer. At this stage we do not have any reason to think this will not remain the case.”

The renewal period for those in the Peter Taylor Stand opened last week as the club announced plans to redevelop the stadium had been put on hold.
