Nottingham Forest add promising recruitment analyst to first-team department

Nottingham Forest have added Vangelis Perperidis as the new first-team Recruitment Analyst.

Perperidis, 23, will work on an innovative and ambitious project led by the new CEO Dane Murphy.

The Greek holds a Master's degree in football coaching & analysis at the global institute of sport, UCFB (University Campus of Football Business).

He spent the last nine months as a video scout at Coventry City, before joining Forest this month.

Prior to this, he was the head of analysis for Greek side Xanthi FC, while also working with the Greek under-17s team, Iraklis and Apllon Larissa of Greece.

The 23-year-old also holds a UEFA B licence, and is the head of Leading Analysis degree in Greece & Cyprus 'Alfa Sport Analysis', which has been a success in the first year.

Forest's CEO Muprhy, has also bought in George Syrianos, the former head of analytics at Bundesliga outfit, Stuggart.

Chris Brass is also part of the recruitment department, after his previous spell as head of football operations with League One outfit Wigan.
