Defender Joe Worrall says the City Ground display organised by Nottingham Forest supporters’ group Forza Garibaldi will “go down a storm” with the players.
Sabri Lamouchi’s side will play their first home game without any fans on Sunday, when Huddersfield Town are the visitors.
The Reds were back in Championship action last weekend with a 1-1 draw at Sheffield Wednesday, as games returned following a three-month suspension due to the coronavirus crisis.
For the remainder of the season, however, matches will take place in empty stadiums as they are played behind closed doors.
But Forest and Forza are doing everything possible to ensure the City Ground still feels like home.
The latter have organised some fantastic displays in the past and have pulled out all the stops again “to show our full support to Sabri and the players in our absence”.
It includes a giant banner across the Trent End which features images of the Reds squad and the words: “Every single one of us remains right behind every single one of you.”
Worrall retweeted the images and said on Twitter: “Unbelievable again from Forza, never fail to impress. Things like this may seem insignificant but will go down a storm with the lads. Thank you.”
In addition to Forza’s work, fans have been able to drop off flags to be displayed inside the ground and purchase life-sized cardboard cutouts of themselves to go in the stands.
The club have also encouraged supporters to record video messages, which will be played on social media and on the big screens before kick-off.
