Nottingham Forest ace aims warning at Leeds United & West Brom as Evangelos Marinakis shares message

Forest ace aims warning at Leeds and West Brom

Nottingham Forest star Matty Cash has warned automatic promotion chasers Leeds United and West Bromwich Albion to be on their A-game when football returns.

The 2019-20 season is currently suspended because of coronavirus, with Sabri Lamouchi 's side seeing their remaining nine Championship matches postponed.

They last played on March 6, a 3-0 reverse at home to Millwall.

That result left them in fifth place, ten and 11 points off West Brom and Leeds respectively in the top two.

Reds owner shares this message

Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis has a message for his fans.

The Greek shipowner was diagnosed with coronavirus last month and has since overcome the disease.

Lamouchi's side are in fifth place with nine games remaining, their last match the 3-0 reverse at home to Millwall on March 6.

Lamouchi was brought in last June to replace Martin O'Neill, who was sacked after a disappointing end to the 2018-19 season.

The Frenchman added Bruno Baltazar, David Barriac and Jean-Paul Ancian to his coaching setup and could have included Pochat.

Samba has fans in stitches with brilliant inside joke

Brice Samba is fast approaching cult hero status at Forest.

The goalkeeper is making a name for himself not only for his fine performances but his yellow card count.

Samba has picked up seven cautions this season, with midfielder Samba Sow the only Reds player picking up more with eight.

Predictably, Samba's yellow cards tend to come with the Reds holding out for a positive result and that's starting to become his niche.
