Nottingham Forest a 'real disappointment' in striker's career

Former striker Neil Harris has described playing for Nottingham Forest as "probably the real disappointment in my career".

Reds fans are unlikely to remember his two-year spell at the City Ground with any fondness either, given he only scored once for the club.

Harris joined Forest from Millwall in December 2004, cutting short a loan at Cardiff City in order to make the move, and played just 33 league games for the club.

He was loaned out to Gillingham for the 2005/06 season before returning to Millwall in January 2007.

"I think that sort of club (Millwall) was my real home," said Harris.

"You know, clubs with the workmanlike fanbase, was really for me.

"I went to Forest, I should have stayed at Cardiff really. That was probably the real disappointment in my career."
