Nottingham Forest 2021/22 Championship fixture list confirmed

Nottingham Forest will kick-off their Championship campaign with a trip to Coventry City as Reds fans learned their schedule for next season.

The Reds will travel to Mark Robins' side on August 7 with Chris Hughton's men eager to get off to the ideal start against the Sky Blues.

Forest did the double over Coventry last season, beating them 2-1 at the City Ground then winning by the same scoreline at St Andrew's later in the season.

That kicks off what looks a testing start on paper with Bournemouth next on the agenda with the Cherries having missed out on the Premier League after they lost in the play-offs last term.

That is Forest's first home game of the season and it is hoped that with Covid-19 restrictions set to end on July 19, that fans will be allowed in the City Ground.

Another home game follows against Blackburn Rovers before Forest then travel to Stoke City and finish off the month with the much-anticipated clash against arch rivals Derby County.
