Nottingham football fanzone returns to the city for these summer matches

England may have crashed out of last summer's World Cup in a tense semi-final against Croatia but the Nottingham fanzone screenings of all the games was an undisputed winner.

Across four weeks, hundreds of football fans watch live streamed matches at a sunny Sneinton Market with a cold bev and street food in hand - and now its organisers have confirmed the football pop-up will be making a return for 2019.

Family-run business Art of Football has joined forces with Great Northern Inns to bring three alfresco screenings to the square next month.

Up to 480 revellers will have access to the fanzone for each game which will be shown on a four-metre tall LED screen and also include bars and street food.

Tickets are £8.25 per person from gigantic.com.
