Nottingham football fan decks out home with England flags for Euro 2020

This football-mad England fan has decked out his Nottingham home with flags in the year football will (hopefully) be coming home.

Charlie Brown, 24, has put up dozens of flags around his house in Pinewood Gardens in Clifton - something he does regularly for big occasions like the World Cup and Euros.

He says plenty others have joined him and done the same with their homes on the street as a football frenzy sweeps the nation.

To top things off, Charlie will also be at Wembley for England's first game of the tournament against Croatia on Sunday June 13 at 2pm.

Speaking about the flags, he told Nottinghamshire Live: "I've done it plenty of times for world cups, most of the whole street has gone for it.

"It's just about putting a smile on everyone's face as they walk past."

While he was tight-lipped about England's fortunes in the tournament he said: "We've always got a chance. On paper we look good enough, but this is England."

Charlie said he was very excited to have the opportunity to watch the Three Lions in the capital at the weekend, with baking temperatures and sunshine assured.
