Nottingham Five Guys set to reopen after 'ceiling collapse'

Nottingham's Five Guys restaurant is expected to reopen on Friday, January 3, after being closed for a number of days.

The fast-food chain was forced to close its Long Row branch near Old Market Square on Saturday, December 28, after debris from a potential ceiling collapse was spotted.

The American burger chain was also closed on Saturday, December 28, and staff confirmed the store would not be opening over the new year period.

Builders were at the restaurant on Thursday, January 2. When asked they said the restaurant was expected to open on Friday, January 3.

They said the work had been completed on the roof.
