Ian Marriott has joined Savills Nottingham as joint head of residential.
Taking the role alongside Chris Charlton, Ian will be brings with him some 30 years’ experience of the local property market, the last five of which were at FHP Living’s West Bridgford office.
James Abbott, head of Savills residential business in the Midlands and North East, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Ian.
"His wealth of expertise will be a tremendous asset to an already experienced team co-run by Chris Charlton.”
West Bridgford born and bred, Ian lives in the town and is heavily involved with the local community. He is director of West Bridgford Rugby Club and also the senior vice president of Nottinghamshire Rugby Union.
In his new role he will be responsible for properties in Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire and Derbyshire.
Ian said: "This is a great opportunity.
"I am looking forward to this new challenge and to helping develop Savills property offering across the board and in the £500,000 to £5 million price bracket in particular."
