Nottingham digital agency appoints new director as part of growth strategy

A Nottingham digital PR agency has added a new director to its team as part of its growth plans.

Motive, based in Lenton Lane, has appointed Alex Jones as PR director.

Alex, who has seven years’ PR and marketing experience, joins the agency from Nottingham-based digital marketing company Hallam, where he was head of PR.

At Motive, he will use his skills in content, social media and PR to support the growing demand for digital PR.

He said: “Motive has a track record of delivering superb consumer-facing PR campaigns.

“With a great client roster, a new office, and a recent rebrand, I feel like Motive is somewhere I can add value, and develop my skills further.

“As Covid-19 dominates headlines, now more than ever a solid PR and brand strategy is needed for businesses. Important and meaningful relationships can be maintained and built during a crisis.”

Steve McComish, managing director at Motive, said: “Alex’s proven expertise in PR will support the growing demand for digital PR from our existing clients.

“We want him to bolster our reputation for great work and results for our clients.

“Alex has worked across a number of sectors, so his appointment will really strengthen our team and continue to position Motive as one of the leading PR agencies within the Midlands.”
