Nottingham City Council is urgently recruiting for care workers to help care for the "most vulnerable" during the coronavirus outbreak.
The jobs are being advertised on a 'Casual Assignment Basis' with a wage of £9.94 per hour plus casual enhancement of 12.04%.
The roles roles will involve personal care, as well as getting people in and out of bed, cooking light meals and medication checks.
The council is also open to recruiting walkers and drivers to work within a one-mile radius of your home postcode so public transport will not be needed.
No previous experience is required as training will be provided.
If you choose to take on a care role, you will be classed by the Government as a key worker and if you have children, they will be eligible for a school place during your shifts.
All applicants must be aged over 18 years old and interviews will be conducted via telephone starting as soon as possible.
In a statement, a spokeswoman for Nottingham City Council said: "We are able to carry out a DBS Adult First check that is typically processed within two days and will enable people to start working very quickly.
"Nottingham City Council will pay for the DBS.
"It is essential that as many people as possible take on these roles to ensure we are able to continue to care for the most vulnerable in our society during this crisis.
