Nottingham city centre shop closing after 10 years of trading

A Nottingham city centre shop in Angel Row is closing after 10 years of trading there.

Cash Outlet, a pawnbroker, will close its doors on May 31 later this year after opening there in 2012.

A sign has been put in the window, which reads: "This store will be closing on May 31.

"Please collect any buybacks and reserves prior to expiry of agreements and store closure.

"We thank our customers for using our company for the past 10 years."

Nottingham City Council recently secured £12.53 million from the 'Future High Streets Fund' to improve the area around Angel Row and Maid Marian Way.

Traders there recently spoke about what they hope the investment will bring to the area, such as more clothing stores and independent shops.

Elsewhere in the city centre, the Royal Bank of Scotland branch in South Parade, off Old Market Square, is also set to close.
