Nottingham City Transport (NCT) has released its Christmas and New Year bus timetables for this year's festive period.
NCT says some of its services are, however, subject to change due to the constantly moving situation.
Guidance has, for the past few weeks since November 5, been to avoid non-essential travel amid the national lockdown.
This will change to the Tier system following December 2.
The Government has now confirmed a five-day period over Christmas where three households will be able to mix.
Three households will be able to meet indoors between December 23 and 27.
As a result, people may be wishing to travel by bus to do some Christmas shopping or visit their loved ones during this time.
A Saturday timetable will operate on all routes on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve (except Navy 49/X, which will run on normal weekday times), with last buses by approximately 8pm on the night.
Below is the current timetable, which is subject to change "if there is a change in government restrictions, guidance or funding", NCT says.
- Normal service up to and including Wednesday 23rd December
- Christmas Eve – Saturday service, except on Navy 49/X which will operate to normal weekday times. Buses will finish earlier, with last buses by approx. 20:00. View last bus details here.
- Christmas Day – Sorry, no service
- Boxing Day – Special timetable between approx. 06:00 and 18:00 on 6, 10, 17, 27, 28, 35 (City-Wollaton Vale), 36, 39, 41, 43, 44, 45, 48, 49X, 58, 68, 69, 77, 79 (City-Bulwell) and 89. Download summary times here.
- Sunday 27th December - Normal Sunday service
- Monday 28th December – Saturday service, except on Navy 49/X which will run a normal weekday service.
- Tuesday 29th December – Saturday service, except on Navy 49/X which will run a normal weekday service.
- Wednesday 30th December – Saturday service, except on Navy 49/X which will run a normal weekday service.
