The Cod's Scallops, which has branches in Wollaton and Carrington, as well as Long Eaton and Market Harborough over the border, is a contender in two categories - for best restaurant and best takeaway.
The awards will be announced on January 23 at a ceremony in London.
The first 20 people in the queue at the Cod's Scallops in Bramcote Lane, Wollaton, when it opens at 11.30am, will be able to tuck into a freebie.
