Nottingham caves to be turned into Games of Thrones setting for start of season eight

Games of Thrones' fans can soak up the atmosphere of the start of the new season - with a screening deep underground in the caves of a Nottingham pub.

The caves beneath the Angel Microbrewery, in Stoney Street, have been transformed with GOT memorabilia - plus a medieval buffet will be served to celebrate the launch season eight tonight (Monday, April 15).

It's not too late to bag a ticket, for £20, which includes a free drink, popcorn and the buffet, which will have vegan options.

Doors will open at 8pm for food and a recap of seasons one to seven before the first episode of the final season, gets under way at 9.30pm.

Tickets will be available at the bar and will be released a week before each episode.

Manager Blake Walker said: "The caves are dressed in Game of Thrones memorabilia so it looks like you’re there."
