Nottingham Castle dismisses claims leadership team walked out after CEO exit

Nottingham Castle has dismissed claims that all of its 'all-female' leadership team has walked out after the dismissal of its chief executive.

Third Sector magazine published an article today (Friday, December 3) on their website which claimed all members of the leadership team at Nottingham Castle Trust had left after the exit of Sara Blair-Manning.

The story reads: "Third Sector understands that since Blair-Manning’s dismissal, all members of the all-female senior leadership team have left their positions."

Nottinghamshire Live understands that this is not the case as the leadership team, which is not all-female, remains in place.

However it also believes a number of the staff are set to exit and the end of the year.

The speculation follows the controversy over the exit of former chief executive, Ms Blair-Manning in August this year.

She has now taken her former employer to a tribunal over claims of unfair dismissal, making allegations of bullying, harassment and inappropriate behaviour against trustees.

A petition has also been launched calling on its trustees to resign.
